Account Manager- Casualty Claims
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To support the Client Services discipline within the assigned office or region.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with the assembly of contracts, renewal documents, and Client Service Instructions.
- Assists with the development of Stewardship reports.
- Provides ancillary support based on client or departmental needs.
- Participates in client meetings.
- Day to day client interaction
- Provides oversight of handling adjusters
- Responsible to ensure reserves, coding and reporting is up to date
- Complete file reviews, internal and client driven
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major in Risk Management, Business Administration or Finance preferred.
- Applicable Adjuster Licensing
Experience
- Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include five (5) years of adjuster experience.
Skills & Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of insurance, casualty claims or business management
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products and Excel, PowerPoint
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
