Description
A boutique Florida litigation firm with a sophisticated and hands-on practice is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time, fully remote position for a professional who values precision, discretion, and meaningful involvement in complex litigation matters. Our firm does not operate on a high-volume or “assembly line” model. We maintain a deliberate, strategic approach to case management and expect the same level of care and excellence from every member of our team.
Candidate must reside in Florida and work from a designated home office.
Please note: This is not a Paralegal position.

You will work directly with attorneys throughout all phases of litigation and serve as an integral partner in maintaining the firm’s high standards of organization and preparedness.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of substantive litigation experience
- Experience in boutique or mid-sized litigation practice preferred
- Big firm experience a plus, provided you are comfortable in a hands-on environment
- Spanish fluency a plus (not required)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Dropbox, and legal technology platforms
- Exceptional written English skills, including formatting precision
- Strong calendaring and deadline management discipline
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple active litigation matters
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal oversight
- Discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential matters
Core Responsibilities:
- Strategic calendaring and management of litigation deadlines
- Filing pleadings in State and Federal Courts
- Maintaining structured and well-organized digital case files
- Assisting with hearing and trial preparation, including preparation of indexed hearing notebooks
- Drafting correspondence and discovery pleadings
- Coordinating scheduling and attorney travel as needed
- Supporting attorneys in comprehensive case management from inception through resolution
