Description
Sasso Guerrero & Henderlite is seeking attorneys to join our growing and dynamic family law practice in Jacksonville and North Florida. We are currently considering candidates with 0–3 years of experience as well as attorneys with 3+ years of experience who are looking to advance their careers in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Our attorneys represent clients in a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and timesharing, child support, alimony, paternity actions, domestic violence proceedings, modifications, and other related litigation. This position provides the opportunity to work on complex and meaningful cases that directly impact the lives of individuals and families.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and advancing cases through all stages of litigation, including client intake and strategy development, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, preparing discovery, negotiating settlements, attending mediations, taking and defending depositions, preparing witnesses, and representing clients at hearings and trial. Attorneys will maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and other professionals involved in the litigation process.
For attorneys with less experience, the firm offers substantial mentorship, training, and hands-on courtroom opportunities. Newer attorneys will gain exposure to all aspects of family law litigation while working alongside experienced practitioners who are committed to professional development and growth.
For experienced attorneys, this position offers significant autonomy, sophisticated casework, opportunities to mentor junior attorneys, and a platform for continued professional advancement. Experienced candidates will be expected to independently manage a caseload, develop litigation strategies, and effectively advocate for clients both in and out of the courtroom.
At Sasso Guerrero & Henderlite, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional legal services while fostering a positive and team oriented culture. We value professionalism, integrity, accountability, and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients.
