Location: Catonsville, MD (In-office initially, with future hybrid/telework potential)
Position Type: Full-time, Immediate Opening
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 / year (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estate Planning and Probate Paralegal to manage estate administration from start to finish. The ideal candidate has deep familiarity with Maryland Orphans' Court procedures and is highly proficient in modern digital office tools. You will work closely with the managing attorney and directly guide Personal Representatives through the probate process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file petitions, estate inventories, and estate administration accounts.
- Handle and process complex probate estates.
- Coordinate regularly with the Register of Wills (ROW).
- Assist Personal Representatives with liquidating and transferring estate assets.
- Review, process and submit deeds for recording; including experience with Simplfile.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, answering phones and handling correspondence. Manage general clerical duties to maintain an organized, efficient office.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience processing probate estates in Maryland is required.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) is required.
- Strong understanding of estate planning documents and court filings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage strict court deadlines.
- Been a Notary Public preferred.
