Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Miami office for an associate in the Litigation Department. The ideal candidate will have two to three years of complex commercial and business litigation experience. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong research skills, writing skills, and academic record are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic litigation team.
• Federal court and state court experience required.
• Large law firm experience preferred.

• Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience with trademark infringement and unfair competition claims.
• Experience with trials and depositions, including drafting dispositive motions.
• Experience in litigation, trade secrets, and restrictive covenants.
• Experience with eDiscovery, including collection, review and production of electronically stored documents in Florida state and federal matters preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
