o We are seeking a bright and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with experience in civil litigation to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from intake to resolution. Responsibilities include drafting and editing legal documents, managing case files, conducting legal research, coordinating with clients and witnesses, and assisting with trial and hearing preparation. Strong organizational skills, computer literacy, and familiarity with court rules and procedures are essential. This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and promptness. We are looking for someone proactive and willing to go above and beyond on simple requests to make things easier for others.

Requirements
o Managing attorney calendars and case files, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely filings.
o Drafting, editing, and formatting legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, affidavits, and other documents, for review by attorneys.
o Accurately filing legal documents in Federal and State courts.
o Organizing and archiving evidence and other documents in active cases according to the firm’s naming conventions and document management practices.
o Professionally communicating with clients, colleagues, counsel, and court personnel via phone, email, and in person.
o Assisting attorneys with preparation for various proceedings, including preparing exhibit binders and coordinating with witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trials.
o Maintaining records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases.
o Assisting the office manager in the administrative operations of the firm and Columbus office.
o Managing multiple projects and following up to ensure deadlines are met.
